T-shirt featuring Henn Roode’s quote “Ilus on see vaim, mis kannab neid kujundeid” (“Beautiful is the spirit that carries these forms”).

A minimalist and expressive design featuring the words of the talented Estonian artist Henn Roode, taken from one of his sketches from 1968. The T-shirt is made from thick, high-quality fabric. The surface of the fabric has a silicone finish, making the shirt smooth and soft. The material includes recycled cotton. The fit is roomy and comfortable.

Henn Roode (1924–1974) was, alongside Ülo Sooster, one of the most outstanding Estonian artists of the generation that emerged after the Second World War. A talented young artist with a deep interest in French art, Roode came under the scrutiny of the Soviet security services during the Stalinist period and spent many years in a prison camp in Karaganda. After returning to Estonia, he overcame these hardships, completed his studies, and became one of the leading modernists of the 1960s and 1970s.
