Jelena Glazova “Plasma” (ENG)

Jelena Glazova exists in Riga. She writes in Russian, but her first book Ülekanded (“Transfers”) was published in 2013 by the Riga poetry project ORBITA, in both Russian and Latvian. The book was nominated for the Latvian Literature Year Award as a notable debut. Jelena graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts with a master’s degree in audiovisual art. She has performed multiple times with noise concerts, and her sound compositions have been released by likable non-commercial labels. She has participated in sound art festivals, creating, living, and resonating. Now, you hold in your hands her book published in Estonia. You can read it, or you can place it in front of your tablet’s webcam and endlessly stream it to the web. The same page. Or some excerpt. No one knows what the correct way is. That is the point.
