The values and philosophy book “Mis on sulle kallis?”

The values and philosophy book “Mis on sulle kallis?” is intended for children, teachers, and parents. The children’s book is co-authored by children’s writer Tia Navi and philosopher Kadri Simm, and illustrated by children’s book illustrator Elina Sildre. The book contains six stories focused on values, meant to be read and discussed with children. The stories concentrate on values such as reverence for life, friendship, gender equality, caring and solidarity, diversity and tolerance, and love for one’s homeland.

The publication of the book was funded by the British Council as part of the “People to People Cultural Engagement Programme.” The book’s release was also supported by the Ministry of Education and Research’s national program “Value Development of Estonian Society 2009–2013” continuation program 2021–2026.
