Finally, here’s an adventure book that captivates both young and old! Especially those “boys and girls” who grew up with their greatest friend Leopold and Uncle Raivo, eagerly awaiting Friday evenings to visit their favorite heroes on the TV screen. Who could have guessed back then which animal or bird Uncle Raivo’s storytelling pencil would conjure onto the big yellow paper? Which of those now-grown boys and girls wouldn’t remember those moments? Who wouldn’t fondly share these memories with their own children? At the same time as the premiere of the TV show The Greatest Friend, Uncle Raivo’s comics “Võitlus tule pärast” (The Battle for Fire) and “Muinasjutt tulipoisist” (The Tale of the Fireboy) appeared in the youth magazine Pioneer. These stories have been brought back from obscurity, freshly restored, and bound together under the same cover.
