Paranoia “Brief Notes on Decay”

The text collection of the young Serbian writer interweaves surrealistic playfulness and direct self- and social criticism in a unique composite form. At the same time, both funny and thought-provoking material, in which the rawness and the courage to express oneself are borne by the experimental method in a searching way: as always in the case of expi, the indecisiveness of whether the final result has been reached as a result of spontaneous writing or careful planning creates an enriching cognitive vertigo. As you read, the earlier texts begin to merge strongly with the later ones, and the overall result is a work that carries the spirit of Danil Harms without being at all epigonal. In its introspection, “Short Notes on Decomposition” is a kind of youth portrait of a 21st century artist.
