“Dance Night At The Lonely Hearts Club”

This book was published in conjunction with Kaido Ole’s solo exhibition “Dance Night at the Club of Lonely Hearts” held at the ARSENĀLS exhibition hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art in 2019. The exhibition was curated and initiated by Māris Vītols, one of Latvia’s prominent private collectors.

The book features images that largely overlap with the works selected for the exhibition, alongside texts by Māris Vītols, art historian Eha Komissarov, and Jānis Gailis. The latter is a renowned Latvian psychoanalyst and psychiatrist, who conducted five sessions with the author, which served as the basis for his text included in the book.
