Kadri Noormets “Go neo und romantix”

“Go neo und romantix” is a challenging play by Kadri Noormets, which explores the concept of reality criteria, questioning whether anyone other than myself can assert that what I see is not the right thing but just an illusion. Or can anyone claim that I didn’t see anything at all? The text establishes reality criteria while simultaneously breaking them down.

The book features interpretations of the play by nine artists – each artist created two large-format illustrations, which are used throughout the book against the backdrop of the text, forming unexpected and coincidental combinations of text and image.

The play won third place in the New Dramaturgy competition organized by the Estonian Theatre Agency in 2011.
