Homeless texts are a series of notebooks started by Maria Muuk, Ott Kagovere and Maarin Ektermann, which gathers interviews, essays and other writings that don’t seem to have the right drawer, but which we think are still important to circulate. The series is designed by Maria Muuk and Ott Kagovere. The publication has been supported by the publishing house of the Estonian Academy of Arts.
The Prologue School is a self-initiated and informal educational platform that maps practices within which new knowledge is acquired, previous understandings are tested and ways of doing things differently are imagined. The Prologue School was initiated by Maarin Ektermann.
The sub-theme “About curation” brings together transcripts of conversations with curators and between curators. Conversations in booklet format are an open and living archive – abstracts with a specific time and place definition, which are meant to be supplemented, improved, matured over time. This series is an open cloud where conversations about curation are uploaded without the guarantee of hierarchies, chronology or historiography, without a set curriculum, inputs and outputs. But like any stored knowledge, these notebooks can become the basis for both.
