Description

Homeless texts are a series of notebooks started by Maria Muuk, Ott Kagovere and Maarin Ektermann, which gathers interviews, essays and other writings that don’t seem to have the right drawer, but which we think are still important to circulate. The series is designed by Maria Muuk and Ott Kagovere. The publication has been supported by the publishing house of the Estonian Academy of Arts.

Prologue School is a self-initiated and informal educational platform that maps practices in which new knowledge is acquired, existing understandings are challenged and ways of doing things differently are imagined. Maarin Ektermann started the prologue school.

The sub-theme “Self-initiated cultural practices” asks small, self-organized initiatives questions about their formation, daily functioning, mission, motivation and duration, with the aim of bringing them to wider attention, valuing and recognizing them, creating a publicly accessible archive and encouraging the emergence of new initiatives.
