Description

This large-format book features nearly all of Flo Kasearu’s works from 2006 to 2016. Flo Kasearu’s artistic practice spans multiple mediums, from drawings to video works and interventions in urban environments. Although her works often address pressing social issues, there is a common thread of playfulness and self-irony present in Kasearu’s visual and written language.

The book is designed as an oversized paperback and is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter covers her solo practice, the second introduces her collaborations across different media, and the final chapter discusses the Flo Kasearu House Museum. Additionally, the book includes four essays by international curators and writers reflecting on Kasearu’s practice. At the end of the book, there is an interview with the artist conducted by curator Rael Artel, and each artwork presented is accompanied by a brief commentary by Artel.
