Catalogue “Tõnis Saadoja: Etudes for Piano and Canvas”

Tõnis Saadoja (b. 1980) is a painter who focuses on an expansive series of paintings derived from photographs, evoking a sense of calm and contemplation, documentary realism, and solitude. One of his most notable works is the ceiling painting in the former NO99 Theatre building.

Accompanying Saadoja’s solo exhibition “Etüüdid klaverile ja lõuendile” (Etudes for Piano and Canvas) is a catalogue that features a text revealing the background of the exhibited painting series, an interview with the artist, and illustrative imagery. The catalogue is designed by AKU, with photographs by Stanislav Stepaško, translated into English by Peeter Talvistu, and edited by Mari Tuuling and Paul Emmet. It consists of 28 pages.
