The book highlights the ways in which the present materializes in Georgia. Georgia is presented as a country of contrasts and aspirations, making progress through detours. This post-Soviet society appears to be caught in an endless cycle of renovation, creating a unique worldview. Through impressionistic glimpses, the publication explores how the remnants of the past influence a new generation of artists and broader social dynamics.
