Description

Tartu Art Museum’s exhibition “Metaphors for home” (19.01.2018 – 15.04.2018) allows you to take a look at the creations of the generation currently starting their artistic career, introducing the museum audience to the interpretations of young authors on the concept of “home” in the context of the 100th birthday of the Republic of Estonia. The exhibition was part of the EV100 art program “One Hundred Art Landscapes”.

The catalogue accompanying the exhibition contains articles by the exhibition’s curator Joanna Hoffmann and critic Tanel Rander, as well as Wolfgang Hildesheimer’s short story “The Rooftop Apartment”. In the print, you can also read short interviews with the artists participating in the exhibition – what their works talk about and what home means to them.
