Description

Eike Eplik (b. 1982) is a sculptor and installation artist who combines natural forms and materials with artificial ones in his work. Eplik, who started his art education at Tartu High School of Art, could see his solo exhibition “Shared Territory” in Tartu Art Museum in 2021.

The voluminous catalog of sculptor and installation artist Eike Eplik’s work accompanies the Tartu Art Museum exhibition “Shared Territory” (13.02.–30.05.2021). The book contains a lot of photographic material from Eplik’s previous exhibitions, which are illustrated by articles analyzing his work by art historians Šelda Puķīte and Peeter Talvistu. In addition, the catalog includes a lengthy interview, artist biography, curator’s foreword and other appendices. The book was designed by Silver Sikk, the texts were translated by Peeter Talvistu, and the language editing was done by Anti Saar and Richard Adang. The print is in Estonian and English.
