Catalog “Lola Livat. Spiritual Resistance”

Lola Liivat (b 1928) is known as one of the first abstract expressionists in Estonia, although this art style was not viewed favourably in the Soviet Union. Liivat studied and taught at the Tartu Art School and has also taught at the Painting Department of the University of Tartu. The Tartu Art Museum has hosted overview exhibitions of her works.
